“Bridging Innovation Week was an incredibly transformative experience for my business. Without having participated in those two pitch competitions and without the impactful networking we ascertained throughout the week, YNST wouldn’t have made even half of the progress it has. The funding we were awarded allowed us to kickstart our business, but the connections we made during that time have continued to support us in every step of our business journey.”

“The [WVBPC / IgniteWV competition] was a turning point for not only my business but also for me as an entrepreneur. Throughout the process of applying and competing, I faced many challenges and was forced to answer difficult questions; however, the WV Entrepreneurship Ecosystem was like a built-in network of mentors who were able to help me every step of the way. The funding I won in the [competition] made the next steps of my venture possible, but equally as valuable was the connections I made through the [competition] and Bridging Innovation Week. I am currently working with engineers to advance my design and manufacture a small batch of units to sell.”
